Full-bodied, deep garnet colour and richly dry. Notes of plum, sour cherry, raspberry and vanilla gradually marriy with anise, bitter chocolate, coffee, tabacco, leather and fig tones that develop with age. Unique and distinctive character comes from the addition of dried grapes during fermentation.

This is a great kit. I am still bulk aging this kit but have stolen a taste or 2 here and there... this kit is fantastic! I highly recommend this kit. The only reasons I did not recommend this for a first kit are
1) It needs to age and who wants to age thier first kit!?!?
2) It has a BIG grape pack so this is a little more difficult to make than a kit without the grape skins.

I would like oak cubes instead of what comes with it but that is a VERY minor detail.

I will update this when I bottle and again when we start to drink it.
